Privacy Policy

How Ajons handles information across our websites, web apps, desktop applications, and browser extensions.

Last updated: July 30, 2026

1. Summary

Ajons products process only the information needed to provide, secure, support, and improve their stated functions.
We do not sell personal data.
What is processed differs by product: our websites, our desktop applications, and our browser extensions each work differently, so read the section for the product you use.
You can contact us at any time to ask for access to, correction of, a copy of, or deletion of your information.

2. Scope

This Policy applies to the Ajons Web Tools websites, our web applications, our Windows desktop applications, our browser extensions, and the related account, subscription, and support services we operate.

It does not apply to third-party websites, marketplaces, or services you visit or use independently. Those services are controlled by other companies and have their own privacy practices. Where one of our products works alongside a third-party platform, we describe that below.

3. Products and Services Covered

Web services

Ajons Web Tools (this site), including VidStreamer for streaming pre-recorded video to platforms you choose, and ShortMaker for turning long videos into short clips and captions. These require an account and process the media you upload.
Ajons Cashbook — an income and expense tracking app. It requires an account and stores the transactions and reports you create.
Ajons Community — a public discussion forum. It requires an account and stores your profile, posts, and forum activity.
Student VoicePrint — a writing assistant (writer, humanizer, and AI-signal review) that runs in your browser and connects to an AI provider using a key you supply yourself. The key is held in page memory for that session and is cleared when the page is refreshed or closed; the text you submit is sent to the AI provider you selected.

Desktop applications (Windows)

Fiverr Optimizer — analyses gigs, keywords, and competitor listings to help sellers improve visibility and conversion.
ClientScout — helps freelancers and agencies find and manage prospective clients.
DMask — browser fingerprint protection, proxy management, and device identity masking.

Each desktop application requires you to sign in with your Ajons account, and checks your licence, subscription, and update status with our servers.

Browser extensions

Fiverr Optimizer Data Bridge is a Chrome extension that works with the Fiverr Optimizer desktop application. When you run a supported research, scanning, loading, or analysis function in Fiverr Optimizer, the desktop application requests specific Fiverr web addresses from the extension over a local connection on your device. The extension may open those requested pages in background tabs and return the relevant rendered content to Fiverr Optimizer. It does not continuously monitor your browsing, and it does not inspect unrelated websites or unrelated tabs. See section 6 for full details.

Products that are internal, experimental, unreleased, or restricted to administrators are not covered by this Policy and are not offered to the public.

4. Information We Collect

Account information

Your name, email address, an account identifier, and a securely hashed password. We do not store your password itself. We also record whether your email address has been verified, your current plan and subscription status, any prepaid usage balance, and a record of your acceptance of these terms (which includes the policy version, the date, and the IP address and browser user agent used at the time).

Service usage information

Which tools you use, the jobs and requests you submit, processing status and outcomes, start and finish times, computing resources consumed for metering, storage used against your quota, errors encountered, and your saved project settings and autosaved work.

Uploaded or submitted content

Files you upload (such as video and audio), files our services generate for you, project names and thumbnails, text you enter into a tool, and — where a product offers it — media we download on your behalf from a link you provide. We also store file metadata such as filename, size, and content type. For VidStreamer, you provide the destination address and stream key for the platform you want to broadcast to; these are used to deliver your stream and are masked in our logs.

Technical and security information

IP address, browser and device type, operating system, user agent, session information, request and diagnostic logs, and security events such as failed sign-in attempts, rate-limit triggers, and suspected abuse. For desktop applications we also process a device identifier, an optional device name you set, the application version, and the platform, so that licences, device limits, and free trials can be enforced.

Payment information

Payments are handled by third-party payment providers. Card and other payment credentials are entered with the provider and processed under their own privacy policies. We receive and store a transaction reference, the provider name, the amount and currency, what was purchased, the payment status, and the resulting subscription or balance change. We do not store full card numbers.

Support and communication information

The content of emails, support requests, and problem reports you send us, along with any screenshots, logs, or other details you choose to include, and records of service messages we send you (such as verification codes, receipts, and renewal reminders).

Website and extension content

Our public websites use analytics and marketing-measurement tags that record limited information about site visits and interactions, as described in section 8. Our browser extension reads the rendered content of specific Fiverr pages requested by a function you started in the Fiverr Optimizer desktop application, and returns it to that application; it does not continuously monitor your browsing or inspect unrelated websites or tabs, as described in section 6.

5. How We Use Information

To provide the services and features you request, and to process the files and content you submit.
To create and operate your account, verify your email address, and let you sign in securely.
To process payments, manage subscriptions and balances, and issue receipts and renewal reminders.
To apply plan limits, storage quotas, device limits, and free-trial eligibility.
To deliver results, keep your work and projects available to you, and maintain product functionality.
To diagnose errors, investigate faults, and improve the reliability and usability of our products.
To detect, prevent, and investigate abuse, fraud, and security incidents, and to protect accounts.
To respond to your support requests and send service-related messages.
To understand, in aggregate, how our public marketing pages perform.
To comply with legal obligations and to enforce our Terms of Service.

We do not use the content you upload to our services, or the page content read by our browser extension, to build advertising profiles about you.

6. Fiverr Optimizer Data Bridge (Chrome Extension)

Fiverr Optimizer Data Bridge is a Chrome extension that connects the Fiverr Optimizer desktop application on your computer to supported Fiverr webpages. It exists so that Fiverr Optimizer can collect the public marketplace information needed for a task you have asked it to perform.

How a capture starts

You start the process in the Fiverr Optimizer desktop application, by running one of its research or analysis functions — for example Load from URL, Load competitor data, Create My Gig, Scan Fiverr, Search Fiverr, or Find Services.

Fiverr Optimizer then sends the Fiverr web addresses it needs, or the capture task itself, to the extension over a local connection on your own device. That request stays on your computer and does not travel over the internet to us. The extension may open the requested Fiverr pages in inactive, background Chrome tabs so their content can be read.

Clicking the extension's toolbar icon mainly shows pairing and connection status. It is not the usual way to start a capture; captures are requested by the desktop application.

What it reads

On the requested Fiverr pages, the extension reads the relevant rendered page content. This may include visible text, hyperlinks, gig details, seller information, prices, ratings, reviews, search results, category information, and other marketplace information required for the Fiverr Optimizer function you selected. It reads what the page renders; it does not sign in on your behalf.

Where the information goes

The captured page data is returned to Fiverr Optimizer on your computer, and is used only for the research, comparison, scanning, gig-building, or optimization function you requested.

What it stores, and the permissions it uses

The extension uses local Chrome extension storage only for its settings, pairing state, connection details, and temporary operational status (for example, whether the desktop application is currently reachable). It uses Chrome's alarms permission for connection checks, polling, and retry timing.

Its manifest requests only what those functions need: storage, alarms, access to Fiverr hosts, and access to the local connection to the Fiverr Optimizer desktop application. Page access is limited to the hosts declared in the manifest.

What it does not do

It does not continuously monitor your browsing. It acts only on the specific pages requested by a task you started in Fiverr Optimizer.
It does not build, keep, or sell a list of the pages you have visited.
It does not inspect unrelated websites, or unrelated tabs you have open.
It does not sell the captured data, or transfer it to anyone for money or a similar benefit.
It does not use the data to determine creditworthiness or for any lending or credit decision.
It does not use the data for advertising unrelated to the product's purpose.
It does not place Fiverr orders automatically.
It does not send Fiverr messages automatically.
It does not change your Fiverr account, profile, or settings.
It does not submit forms on your behalf.
It does not load or execute remotely hosted JavaScript or WebAssembly. All executable code is bundled inside the extension package submitted to the Chrome Web Store.
It does not collect your passwords, payment details, or authentication credentials, and it does not read your personal messages.

Fiverr Optimizer and the Fiverr Optimizer Data Bridge extension are independent tools built by Ajons. They are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Fiverr International Ltd. Your use of Fiverr itself is governed by Fiverr's own terms and privacy policy.

7. Desktop Applications and Local Device Data

Our desktop applications differ from one another, so what follows describes what they may do rather than what all of them always do. Depending on the application, information kept locally on your computer may include application settings, sign-in and connection details, your preferences, cached results, local project files and work in progress, and diagnostic logs. You can remove this local data by deleting it within the application or uninstalling the application.

Information transmitted to Ajons servers is limited to what the product needs to operate: your account sign-in, licence and subscription checks, device identification for licence and trial enforcement, application version and update checks, in-app notifications, and error or diagnostic reports where the application sends them.

Some features send information to third-party services at your request — for example, when you choose to connect an external provider, supply your own API key, or use a proxy or network service of your choosing. In those cases the information goes to the provider you selected, under that provider's privacy policy.

8. Cookies, Local Storage, and Sessions

Our websites use cookies and similar browser storage for the following purposes:

Authentication and sessions — a session cookie, and an optional "remember me" cookie if you ask to stay signed in. These are required to sign in and stay signed in.
Security — protection against cross-site request forgery and against abuse of sign-up, sign-in, and code-resend flows.
Preferences — remembering choices such as dismissing the cookie notice.
Browser local storage — used by some features to track the progress of a large upload so it can be resumed.
Analytics and marketing measurement — our public marketing pages load Google Tag Manager (which may load Google Analytics) and the Meta pixel. These may set their own cookies and report limited information about page visits and interactions to those providers, including your IP address and user agent. You can limit this using your browser or device settings, or a tracking-blocking tool.
Extension storage — our browser extension stores its own settings and status locally through Chrome extension storage, as described in section 6 above.

Blocking authentication, session, or security cookies will prevent you from signing in and using the products.

9. Payments

Depending on the product and your location, payments are processed by Paystack, Flutterwave, or Stripe. You enter your payment details with the provider, and the provider processes them under its own privacy policy. We are notified of the outcome through the provider's confirmation and webhook messages.

From that, we may receive and retain a transaction reference, the provider name, the amount and currency, the item purchased, the payment status, and the resulting change to your plan or balance. We do not store full card numbers or equivalent payment credentials.

10. Service Providers

We use a small number of external providers to run our services. They process information only to deliver the service we have contracted them for:

Payment processors, to take payments and confirm their status.
Transactional email providers, to deliver verification codes, receipts, renewal reminders, and support replies.
Hosting and infrastructure providers, which run our servers, databases, and file storage.
Cloud object storage, where a service is configured to store user files in the cloud rather than on our own servers.
Analytics and marketing-measurement providers, for our public marketing pages, as described in section 8 below.
AI or content-processing providers, where a product feature uses one, or where you connect one yourself with your own key.

11. Data Sharing

We do not sell personal data.
We share information with the service providers listed above, only as needed to operate the services.
We may disclose information where we are legally required to do so, such as in response to a valid legal request.
We may share information to investigate or act on fraud, abuse, security incidents, or violations of our Terms of Service, and to protect our users, our rights, and our systems.
Information is transferred to a third party when you intentionally direct it there — for example, when you connect an external provider, supply your own API key, or send a stream to a platform of your choosing.

If Ajons is ever involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, and we will remain bound by the commitments in this Policy or give you notice of any change.

12. Retention

We keep information for as long as we need it for the purpose it was collected, and then delete or de-identify it. In practice this means:

Account information is kept while your account is active.
Your files and projects are kept until you delete them or close your account. You can delete uploaded and generated files yourself from your account settings.
Payment, subscription, and order records are kept for as long as needed for accounting, tax, audit, dispute, and fraud-prevention purposes.
Consent records, security logs, and abuse-prevention records are kept for as long as needed for security and audit purposes.
Deleted information may persist in operational backups for a limited period before those backups are cycled out.
Incomplete or abandoned uploads are cleaned up automatically after a short period.
Data stored locally by a desktop application or browser extension remains on your device until you or the application removes it.

13. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards to protect information. These include encrypted connections, hashed passwords, email verification, restricted administrative access, rate limiting and abuse protection on sensitive actions, and the masking of sensitive values such as stream keys in our logs.

No internet service can guarantee absolute security. If you believe your account has been compromised, or you have found a security issue, please contact us at support@ajonswebtools.com.

14. International Processing

We and our service providers may store and process information in countries other than the one you live in. Where information is transferred internationally, we rely on the safeguards and contractual commitments offered by the providers we use, and we require them to protect the information in line with this Policy.

15. Children

Our products are business and creator tools and are not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Accounts are intended for people who are old enough to enter into a contract in their country, and in any case at least 13 years old. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will remove it.

16. Your Rights and Choices

You can manage much of your information yourself: update your profile, manage your plan, and view or delete your uploaded and generated files from your account settings.

You may also contact us at support@ajonswebtools.com to request:

Access to the personal information we hold about you.
Correction of information that is inaccurate or out of date.
A copy of your information in a portable form.
Deletion of your information, or closure of your account.
Withdrawal of any optional consent you have given, including for non-essential analytics.
Help with any other privacy question or concern.

We will verify that a request comes from you before acting on it. Some records must be kept even after an account is closed — for example, payment and tax records, and information needed for security, fraud prevention, or legal obligations. We will tell you if that applies to your request.

17. Third-Party Services and Websites

Our products work alongside independent third-party services, including Fiverr, the video and streaming platforms you broadcast to, payment providers, and any AI or network provider you connect yourself. Those services are not operated by Ajons, and their own terms and privacy policies govern what they do with your information. Links from our sites to other websites are provided for convenience and are not an endorsement.

18. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy as our products change or as legal requirements change. When we make a material revision, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page, and where appropriate we will notify you through the product or by email. Continuing to use our products after an update means you accept the revised Policy.
